What is Venture Bus?
40 entrepreneurs on 1 bus for 5 days through 4 African countries! Designers, business experts and developers meet on the Venture Bus and team up (usually into 8 groups) to create innovative startups providing solutions to local challenges in Africa, specifically Namibia in our case. Yes, the Venture Bus is coming to Windhoek! Whoop!
Why on a bus?
On the road, the entrepreneurs do not create rigid business models , instead they get in touch with local tech communities and innovation centers. This way, they get immediate feedback on their startup ideas: feasibility, usability and acceptance among potential users.
After a successful pilot in 2013 (read about it here ), it’s ready for the next level: 4 new routes means 160 Entrepreneurs driving through 15 African countries (specifically again, for our case, Windhoek, Namibia! Whoop!)!

East Africa: Dar Es Salaam to Kigali 14.11.2014 – 20.11.2014

NAMIBIANS ONLY: No participant fees required from Namibian applicants and if you don’t have the transport fares to Harare and from Cape Town just let us know on the form and we’ll see how we can solve that!
